Her journey in nutrition and dietetics, spanning both clinical and food safety realms, reflects a commitment to excellence. At Gertrude's Children Hospital, she not only ensures regulatory compliance and food quality but also spearheads patient-centered nutrition initiatives. Fridah's expertise extends beyond the hospital walls; she is a skilled content creator, leveraging her strong communication skills to educate and inspire. Fridah is poised to continue making significant strides in enhancing health and wellness through nutrition education and advocacy.
Bellah is a trained therapist with a diploma in counselling since 2018 and has experience working with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures and belief systems. I take a person-centered approach and also a wholistic approach and love doing therapy with adolescents, individuals and groups to help them navigate and cope with challenges in their life. I strive to assist clients and their families process emotions and learn coping skills to deal with everyday stressors and decrease symptoms. With the necessary tools and skills at our disposal it is easier to identify triggers, notice warning signs, and find ways to better prepare for oncoming stressors and challenges. I utilize CBT, DBT, and trauma focused approaches. I have an office in Karen and it is a safe space which is welcoming for those who wish to experience therapy.
